~Member Biographies~

Eric Krumich hails from Pittsburgh, PA. Among notable teachers, he studied trumpet with Vincent Monteleone in Pittsburgh and Bob McCoy in New York city, NY. He spent 22 years in the U. S. Army Band Program with assignments that included duty in Colorado, Japan, Virginia and West Point Military Academy. Eric was a member of the Virginia Symphony and the Virginia Opera and Virginia Ballet Companies. His freelance credits include backing Tony Bennett, Peter Nero, YES, The Three Irish Tenors, The Temptations, The O’Jays, Dells, The Lettermen, Ben Vereen, Arturo Sandoval, Marvin Hamlisch, Skitch Henderson, Eric Kunzel, The Jimmy Dorsey Band, and The Harry James Band. Eric has also performed in the touring Broadway productions of Fiddler on the Roof, Chorus Line, The Producers, and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Eric resides in Alexandria, VA and teaches special education (self-contained autism) in the Maryland Public School Districts.

Michael Wholey hails originally from Pittsburgh, PA, where he began his study of the trumpet with Jack McKie of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Following high school, he attended Morehead State University and Edinboro University before joining the Army Band Program where he served for 23 years. Mr. Wholey holds a B.S. in music performance from Hampton University, a M.S. in adult education from Kansas State University and a M.S. in secondary education from Old Dominion University. He has performed with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra String Quartet, Al Porcino Big Band, John D’earth, The Temptations, Bobby Shew, The Rhythm Kings and Tommy Newsome and is currently teaching music and English at Tabb Middle School in Yorktown, Virginia.

Jason Foster, a native of Fort Worth, Texas, is currently the bass trombonist with the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Performance from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Music degree in Trombone Performance from Indiana University. His former teachers include Scott Hartman, Donald Knaub, Keith Brown, Dee Stewart, and Michael Mulcahy. Mr. Foster was previously a member of the United States Continental Army Band, Midland-Odessa Symphony Orchestra, Lone Star Brass Quintet, and Apex Brass Quintet. Mr. Foster has also performed with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Virginia Symphony, Virginia Chorale, Big Spring Symphony, and Camerata Orchestra. In addition, he has had the fortune to perform under the baton of Gunther Schuller, Per Brevig, Jerry Junkin, and Kurt Mazur. Jason resides in Newport News with his two children, Emma and Rylan.

Robin Felkner, from Dover, DE, earned both a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Music Performance from James Madison University. After touring for two seasons with the American Wind Symphony Orchestra as principal Horn and soloist, she auditioned for the United States Continental Army Band and enlisted in the Army in 2000. She and her husband, army trumpet player SFC Keith Felkner, then enjoyed a 3 year tour in Germany serving as "Musical Ambassadors to Europe" with the U.S. Army Europe Band and Chorus. They returned to Virginia last year and currently reside in Hampton with their children Ryan and Rebekah.

Chris Moore, from Berea, Kentucky, is a dynamic and versatile musician. He received a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Louisville before joining the Air Force, where he currently serves as a principal tubist with the Heritage of America Band. Chris has studied with Skip Gray, John Jones, Dan Perantoni, and Jim Willett. Chris has been a member of several performing groups including the Commonwealth Brass Band, Louisville Brass Ensemble, Advocate Brass Band and the Derby City Brass Quintet. He currently resides in Newport News with his wife Angela.
